Fort Mcmurray
Hi everyone old and new!
Yes it has been a very long time since I have been on the board. Hope you are all well and off roading with lots of grit, mud and fun!
I just got back in to town and heard about Fort Mcmurray and was wondering if anyone had heard from Pete (Xcited)? Last I heard he was still out there.
I still have my truck but sadly on its last wheels. I never got around to figuring out the exact mileage but its well past 500,000 Klm. It's mostly just used for small trips around town, that 3rd timing belt is due so I don't go far.
Also have some xterra camping gear to pass on, I will post this on the camping board.

Re: Fort Mcmurray
Pete and crew are out of the way. He is not in the area where 80% was burnt down. I am not sure how far away his place is relative to the fire, aside from being in Mac. He has a remote camera on the house and his post yesterday showed it was okay. I have not heard anything today. Hopefully the house and the business are still doing good but who knows how long he can access the camera (power and other lines may be down).
Just heard throw another member that so far all is still good...touch wood, cross fingers and all that.
