Hi, I've heard nissan sentra from 2000 and older were reliable. Is it a myth or it is real?

1999 and older, the only real issue was the bodies rot out.
2001-2004ish had wiring problems
2005-2006 were pretty good

Re: Nissan sentra 1995
We had a 95 2 door. We had it until about 6 years ago. It was low mike but older. Never needed anything but tires. Usual body rust started where the rear quarter meets the bumper, common for all Japanese cars of the era.
It was gutless (auto) but got out of its own way. Good inner city commuter. Spartan but reliable.
