nissan alternator Hitachi 130a part #
Ok long story- short my alternator is going and i like to get spare one. 06 xterra 4.0l motor. What i need to know is actual nissan part # stamped on alternator. Just in case i get one from junk yard, i wanna make sure they dont sell me any nissan alternator. Thanks.

You could get a rebuilt one with lifetime warranty close to the price you'll pay for the one at the boneyard. So far i am SOL checked some alternator places - nothing, they can rebuild mine, but that is not what i want. Called junk yards - nada. Looks like the only place to get new or rebuild one is dealer

look it up on parts train they want 114 for a OEM remanufactured +76 for the core ..Mean Green does not make one yet you could look at north queen auto recycle they have just about everything
your alt will more than likely make it through the winter and next year it is just making a little noise

How do you know your alternator is going?? Is it making noise?
There must be a reason that its going, is the belt to tight?

They start to whine, and they also have increasing difficulty in producing enough power to run the truck and charge the battery.
Sometimes you get lucky and you can hear it when it's starting to go, and change it before it actually dies on you. But more often then not, you get left on the side of the road because you've drained your battery because the alty is dead.
A lot of X owners carry a spare one (along with a lot of other spare parts) just in case it happens on the trail.

Has anyone found the Hitachi part number? If you can find that I may have a supplier, or two.
