New Sorta :)
Heya guys !!
It has been a very long time since I have been on these Forums, so I have a lot of reading to catch up on and a whole whack of questions for another part of this Forum.
In a nutshell here we go
Had 03 Pathfinder and 05 X they were both awesome SUV's however there gone (with divorce) but now that finally everything is behind me I started looking into getting a 05-08 Frontier however reading about all the tranni problems I figure I will go old school 00-04 Fronty.
Happy to be back and should be up and running full force come the new year.
getting my groove back here
cheers,
Marcel

Congrats on the next stage of things.
The trans issues might be avoided if you went manual. Though if you could find a low mileage '04.....

Re: New Sorta :)
haha well ya never know when one may stop by (6 pack) I will post my questions for you Frontier Gurus in the garage
BP armor is dead duck ~~~ But have a new company same style but more of a broader spectrum so I can do more with this company as well. I'm hoping to get into alot of different products for the Nissans and hopefully this Club as before can work together with me on some new " stuff an things "
So I am off to the garage now
cheers all

Re: New Sorta :)
The 05+ have a better engine and suspension setup.
The radiator issue is easily overcome with a cooler bypass modification. I think there's some info around here somewhere.
If starting from scratch, I'd start on the 05+ platform, and just avoid the transmission problem with the bypass.
And welcome back!

Welcome back! I remember BP skids (right?). As what Morpheus has said already...just do a bypass and all is good. I've got an 05 and it's just shy of 300,000 km. it's been a reliable truck. Good luck with the search.
