Pet X

Post by Yorkdiver »

Hello, from Petawawa.

Have had my X for about a year and am looking forward to getting off-road. Currently just stock, but am working on performance, then sliders, bumpers and armour.

I don't have a navigator, would this pose a problem?

Looking forward to getting out, even if it means driving to Ottawa. ;)

If you come out for one of the rookie runs, it means driving to Minden - but it'd be cool to see another PRO-4X out...welcome!

Its nice to have one, but is by no means means necessary.

I will claim you as another east ender, as you are closer to Ottawa then you are the GTA! :welcome:

My parents live in Westmeath, right along the river. Mom used to work on the base until about 6 months ago, so we go back and forth frequently enough to visit.

She's good so far. Only done a little bit of mudding on some of the trails I take my quad on. Nothing too extreme as I dont like to walk out and cells don't work so well.

Just working on performance right now. CAI is showing up in a week. Then I'll be ordering up a Catback and possibly some sliders this year. Next year are the bumpers. I can't wait.

Received your PM / welcome to the club. My other Nissan has my attention and $$ this season. All the best and hope you make it out. Lots of stock friendly side roads off Barron Canyon Road towards the park. Take bug and bear spray, think of spraying both in your face if cant get away from the bear.

Hey Yorkdiver let me know when your planning some outings I am down in the Woodstock area but think nothing of driving 4 or 5 hours to go out wheeling for the day and most times drive back home that night. Have not been up your way to wheel but would love the chance to as long as its not during planting season or harvest most other times Im good to go

I grew up in Ottawa. Keep me in the loop. I could combine a wheeling trip and a check-in with the family!
I could travel on Friday night, camp, and be ready to go! (Travel back on Sunday.)
.
(I guess it depends upon exactly where the wheeling takes place, but keep me in the loop.)
