Yesterday i drove to Oakville and bought a roof basket for 100, stopped at PA bought some lights, d'ring shackles, shackles for roof basket, and tweeters. Drove home mounted the roof basket, and mounted the lights. Then added an extra cross piece from the 1999.5 roof rack. Then uninstalled the old crappy tweeters and installed my new ones. Put on the shackles and thats it. Today i went to the auto show in Ancaster and bought a Brofasco 30' 18000lbs tow rope for the truck for 20 bucks and brought it home. OUT OF MONEY NOW!

Took the trailer hitch and rear bumper off and rocker guarded them. Rocker guarded the rear plastics and installed led plate lights. Oh and got it dirt and showed up a 1/2 ton gmc :)

Bought a Sport rack basket for $100, put it on the truck, threw my spare up top, tie-strapped it down.
Tried using Goo-gone one the fairing, made a huge mess, so I gave the fairing a custom paint job.
Put on my tires back on the truck (painted them black, thanks Nd4spdSe).

I've actually been messing around with some PVC trying to figure something out for a snorkel. I'll tell ya this, the barbecue works 100x better than a heat gun. Now just need to find some 3 and a half inch rubber hose.

Jay, I was at Part Source the other day and I saw the chrome/aluminium shiny exhaust tip and extension... I wonder if that will look good for your snorkel extension, hahahaha... That will blind people during the day you'll gain the upper hand when going down the highway, lol...

Brother Jay,

You're truck is coming along nicely! It looks good man. Let me know if you get stuck for that rubber tubing for your snorkel. I may be able to help you out.

So the white letters are what I want, not the red? But then my tiedown straps wont match. And everyone knows ya gotta be colour coordinated on the trail if ya don't wanna get stuck.
