in the past 24 hours, remounted finished tire carrier, painted and mounted rock sliders, drilled out holes and mounted rear bumper, reinstalled backup light and cb antenna, removed back seats, retapped skid plate mounting holes and reinstalled skids, fixed the other remote oil filter leak, drank a beer with bender and admired our handywork

VERY small windows, so visability can be an issue, but I was ever so tempted when they first came out... They had some issues with body panels tearing, and I don't recall if they ever did any warranty recalls or anything like that.

That's not to say that it's still an issue, but google it and see what comes up.

Installed new UCA bushings, 1 lower balljoint, skidplates and compressor. Also took it down to Woodbridge alignment to get her pointing straight. Like a new truck now!

I'll get some up. Though, it doesn't look much different. Got a clay bar and wax a couple of weeks ago. Has my rims/tires on it, and a winch on it. Did a real quick paint job on the rear bumper and sliders, until I have time to do them properly.

I removed my worn out AC UCA bushings and replaced them with new ones, painted by UCA's, finally got around to rebuilding my stock idler arm with the Bandit 4x4 bushings, and then re-installed it on the truck with my AC Idler arm brace. I also put some low profile polyurethane bumpstops too...

Well, I don't have a rig anymore... but.

STI intercooler is in. I lowered it 1.5" with some B&G S2's and painted the wheels gun metal.

:)

oh, not all today, but over the last week or so.

I ran some plumbing from my airbox out into my fender, to get my air intake a little bit higher than stock.
I used the ABS glue then silicone. Please ignore my silicon job. Its not the cleanest, but it serves a purpose :teeth: .
I extended the wiring and connected the air temp sensor to the end elbow piece.

(Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic)

Should I leave the end tip up like it is in this photo, turn it downwards, or will it matter much?

Nice work... I'd leave the end tip down, in case water comes in through the top. But that's just me

I wouldnt put the elbow on the end, I didnt for mine, I just extended it right to the door! so the end of mine, in a side view, looks like:

" \ "

Works for me so far!!

LGM,

Looks good big fella!! If you leave it turned up you'll at least get a couple inches more height out of it which may make the difference. I just keep an eye on my air filter to see what's getting caked on there especially after crossing deep water. I haven't found any little critters yet!!!

LOL Sandor.
Truck is lighter now with all the nuts and bolts I lost... :irked:
I ended up changing the 90' piece to a 45 degree, and turned it up, as SCS suggested, to get a few extra inches. You know what they say, every inch counts. I'll keep an eye on the filter, hopefully I don't get in anything that deep anyway.

It only cost about $20 for the 2" ABS fittings and glue. Do it!
