ya i really like the simple bar look and that was my first choice, but the one with the light guards might be a bit safer if i ever hit somthing.

iam def going to go with the skid plate assembly they offer as well,

but my question is if those prices(US prices) are resonable or can i find someone to build me one for about half the price. or get the bar discovery 1 and down the road get some one to weld me the rest if i end up wanting to switch the bumber a bit.

Shipping everything i plan to buy will be almost 200lb+ and thats going to be a hefty shipping bill from north carolina

if i were you i would start checking junk yards,

my buddy found a cherokee once at the junk yard with all the aftermarket bumpers still attached the only thing was they were rusty, easy fix with some sanding and paint

hmm ya , good point, but jeeps are a bit more common then LR. but ill start looking around thanks for the tip
