Side note, sorry to hear about your grandma.
Well lads, I know Scotty's schedgy is tight, but if you do fly on the weekend and need a stop over or whatever, I will be home by then and you guys are welcome to puke on the floor, I mean crash at our place.

Well, she's fixed.
I'm heading to Cornwall tomorrow morning on the Via train. If Adam feels like driving to Cornwall, by all means, but I'm happy taking a cab the short distance to M-burg.

The whole distributor needs to be replaced. The CPS is part of the distributor.
Scotto, glad to hear you're on the way to being back in the yellow beast.
And also sorry to hear about your Grandma. All the best, buddy.

Need an update. Is Scottish happily traveling down the 401 towards home or is he in need of roadside assistance, or...gulp...still in Morrisburg.

Re: CPS problems in Morrisburg
Oh crap, I forgot to call you, Josh. Sorry. Me and Yellow Beast are home! Brand new dizzy, and the old one is in a box on the floor. Going to rebuild it, if I can.
The truck is running great. Better than ever. More horsepower, and very smooth. Probably should have changed the dizzy 6 months ago. Great drive. Took a bit for the idle to settle down. When I stopped for coffee, it wanted to be a little high, but then it settle in after the first hundred Kms. It got back to it's usual self. Great mileage. Cruised along at 115 Kph (pretty good for an X on 33s.)
Long day - but a great one for a drive. This truck breaks down in the perfect spots, oddly enough. If it had passed Morrsiburg on the 401, the next real exit is Brockville, some 80Kms down the road. At 20KPH, that would have been one long drive. Some of you may recall the battery dying at the very beginning of Bob-C. This truck stops when it knows the best spot. I thank you, little Yellow Beast
I want to thank Adam for coming out and picking me up in Cornwall. He was waiting in the parking lot of the Via station, and he drove me over to M-burg. Then we went for lunch at the McIntosh Tavern/Conference Centre. Why M-burg has a conference centre is beyond me. Decorated in 1970s rustic brown, with really crappy fries but reasonable sandwiches, we enjoyed a good conversation and beer, while fat ladies gathered with their children and tattooed guys played solitaire on their laptops. It was awesome. Weird, but awesome. UFC interviews played on the TV. So: thanks Adam! Made the day a better one.
That's all for now...
