Washed, vacuumed, inspected...well looked over, fog lights disassembled to replace broken bulbs, MAF cleaned, fueled and hooked up to the trailer.

Got my winch rebuild finished and winch reinstalled. Now none of you guys get to pull me out when I get stuck this weekend... On the other hand I will gladly accept help hooking the winch to things ;)

Funny that. The only vehicle I ever pulled at AW was a Jeep. The Nissans were all fine.

Fixed the drivers side window. Goes up and down without clunking. Missing a bolt on the motor and two were loose. Found the missing bolt and it is back together. Thanks Morph!

Raingler nets installed. Went with roof mesh (just so useful) and rear barrier for the dog.

What CB setup did you go with (pics if possible)? I am looking right now for ideas.

I forgot to update... New rear calipers, rotors and pads plus grease job and general check over for the Z. The 'voy got trans and diff fluids and oil change. August was expensive. :/

Ripped the HID low beams out of the Envoy today, back to regular halogen bulbs.

Midland Handheld Unit - http://www.amazon.ca/Midland-75-822-40- ... B00000K2YR
Image mounted the 3' whip with a spring after this shot, on a Firestik mount from Amazon that I pop-riveted to the body and used a sealant to protect from leaking.

The CB is mounted on the center arm rest, behind the cup holders (I can get a shot tomorrow if you're confused)
The CB is great, I can attach a mobile antenna/battery pack and use it separate from the vehicle if needed.

In addition to this:

F***ed my alignment with garbage Moog bolts (I've very bitter about this now lol)
Gotta throw another $200 into an alignment with OEM bolts on Tuesday. For now it looks like my X's front tires are collapsing.

Yeah it's a neat unit. I am torn between a bearcat 880 and the portable midland. I like to scan channels and FSR roads post frequencies...like to be able to adjust real quick and the bearcat looks good. The midland is small and semi portable and can be hidden when not in use.

It does, but ya live and ya learn. Sucks to fork out so much for an alignment, but I am trying to get some of my money back. Hopefully I can. Now we know, don't get Moog cam bolts lol! I'll post some pics of the bolts when I get my alignment done (again) haha.

The mechanic even showed me what was happening. The bolts were turning, but had stripped a rounded hole in the camber washers (whatever they're called). Totally useless now!

It was a cheaper kit poorly installed by the previous owner. It was starting to fail as well. I like HIDs but they need to be a decent kit and installed properly. They should also have a mod to make the DRLs run at 100% power as HIDs don't like less. Or so I'm told. I guess this is why one failed but not sure.
