Canada and Nz are both amazing country's with lots to see. Yeah you are right it's just the distance between everything, I lived on the coast but could be up in mountains in 2 hours or on the plains going the other direction in a few hours, everything is so close and easy to get to there but here you have to go so far to see a big change in the landscape. I like traveling and exploring so I'm happy to hunt out the good spots.

very true. well, thought you might like to see a friend of mine's blog spot. he's been all over canada and just came back from labrador/newfoundland, did the arctic circle last year on a delica and central america in an old land cruiser.. i think you'll like his photojournalism skills..
