need a "saftey"

Post by vyeguy »

okay my car will not pass as it stands right now for the simple reason i do not have inner wheel well covers. i think this is super BS as i am ot paying $80+ each for new ones as the will be ripped right out. plus i removed all the mounting holes on the fender to fit bigger tire under it. so does anyone have contacts to where i can get a "safety" . i know this sound really bad but if i cna't get this POS on the road soon it is getting stripped and parted out.

Does it have to be the stock wheel well liners?

Some guys use thick pool liner, or another black rubber to act as "gap guards" when they get body lifts... maybe you can try something like that??

I say use what ever you can find to make your own first. Don't give up so easily. You can drill new holes if need be and use clips from the "help" section in the Automotive area at Crappy Tire.

Good luck.

Who says you need inner wheel well covers? I'm not at the shop right now to look it up in the book, but I don't remember anything about inner fender well covers being in the safety check list...
