Dude, that's a nice setup: what have you used to lift it like that?
Have a safe trip - I'm heading there on my bike in 5 weeks also - and mine is loaded like your truck, too.

What's your route? I'm pretty sure I could do the trans-lab in my Miata (OK, maybe with a few tire changes thrown in) with all of the paving that's going on out there right now. Did it on the 990 last year...beautiful ride indeed.

Have fun! ...and be safe! http://www.ridetherock.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9245

Minidisco - the lift is a simple spacer and shackle lift from pro-comp (2.5F 1.5R)

Skinnypedal - going to be heading north up Hwy 389 than crossing trans-lab dropping into Newfoundland to see wifes family, than cross over to Nova Scotia, PEI, Newbrunswick, Maine, Boston and than home. 10000km lol

Draconian - Thanx, and thanx again for the use of your spare tire for a back-up

Tires are just 265/75/16 territories, worked good up in minden for the rookie run. Want to upgrade to 285s soon but the wife drives the truck about 125km a day for work and have heard that the 285s will kill my gas mileage.

We got a little over 1000 pics, so will try and get them organized and post up the good stuff. If your planning on doing the trans-labrador highway than do it soon to get the "off the beaten track" experience, they are paving more and more of it each year. Only big thing i would change was not to worry about packing so much food and extra fuel, every town you went into had a grocery store and several gas stations and it wasn't that overly priced. The Quebec 389 Highway to get to the trans-lab was by far the worst road i've driven on in my life, take the worst pothole filled washboard road you've driven on and times it by ten and you have the 389 hwy. And be sure that your trucks suspension is up to snuff because it will take a beating up there, my front suspension has dropped almost an inch and my rear springs were flat after going through there. The rear springs have come back up since but the front has not.
