I installed a set of factory fogs I scored brand new in the box for
$50. Looks way better than the silly plastic plugs! Crappy picture but I was too lazy to open the garage door.

Changed the oil as I always do when a school change looms (for those that missed a lot of school, that would be every three months. For Simon, who's best three years of his life were grade 10, that means that a break or a start happens to school stuff  ).

Man, was it sludgy. Thick. I'm trying to think back to December and wonder if I might have put in a detergent of some sort... And also thinking I will change it again in about two weeks or so. It was bloody-hell bad. Goopy. Weird.

Installed new auto tensioner and serpentine belt, adjusted the rad cap (tightened), hooked up trailer and loaded the V70 for its trip to the shop tomorrow.

It appears the long necked among us are also well endowed in the humour dept.

As for the sludge in the oil, was the motor warmed up before you changed the oil? I've had thick oil come out before, on a cold day, when I didn't run the vehicle long enough.

Oh yeah - she was nice and warm. I dunno. I'm not concerned or anything - it was just thick.

That's why we change the oil on a regular basis! I'd hate to be one of those guys who just leaves it, only to find next July or whenever that the oil isn't oiling...

Shoe-horned the X into the garage - roof rack removed, and tires dropped to 10psi did the trick!

Now I can start working on the steering install!

Picked it up from the body shop. I'm happy with how it turned out.

I was thinking the same thing...

I was also wondering if he kept it the same colour, or went with a different colour then white?
