Removing rust on parts

Post by Snafu »

Found out about this from a subaru member who has used this method on his rotors with great success. Looks fairly simple to set up and not pricey. Going to give it a try.

Electrolysis - A Superior Cleaning Process

Aint all that helpful for removing body rust unless you can immerse the body part (maybe be good for the smaller bits)

sulfuric acid. although you would need a heck of a lot do you body panels haha. I always use it on bolts whenever I'm working on the truck....just toss the bolts, nuts, washers...whatever into a tin of it....45 seconds later they look brand new, but all grey
