It was hour 16 of a 17.5 hour day. Our brains were no longer functioning.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Installed an aftermarket headunit & cobra cb radio in place of the old BOSE headunit/cd changer. Used a metra wire harness and stock speakers/amps. Sounds awesome, but I'll be deaf soon (moreso then I am now that is!)
Still need to mount & swr the antenna, so the CB isn't working, just mounted under the headunit.
Also on the todo is to figure out where to put my XM radio and hook all that up... I was thinking of using the sunglasses holder for the radio base -- my sunglasses are bigger then that thing will hold, and (I say this without measuring), I think it might work...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Today RP'd the Tranny and Rear Diff. Tomorrow new Ypipe and Muffler (as the one that's there has been bastardized and the muffler is split at the seam). Saturday repack the bearings and regrease the auto hubs, change the oil, rotate the tires, check all the brakes, find the ABS sensor that's FUBAR'd (or pull the fuse, which given the amount of other sh*t I have to do is FAR more likely). Monday RP the Transfer Case and Front Diff. Tuesday add a USB hub to the Carputer install and tweak that a bit, install the XM module for my headunit so I can do away with the stand alone reciever, install the module for the Steering Wheel Controls. Maybe I should take some pics too and start a build thread, seeing as I have a nick for the X now (I think)

Installed front 2 Blackpanther skids off my old truck, no problems. The 3rd will require some big washers, but should fit just fine.
Also did an oil change with some pretty purple oil!

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Discovered the other day my CB was dead. Powered on, but not even static from the speaker. Figured the antenna wire was shorted somewhere.
Traced it all the way to the cb, cracked the sucker open and found a broken solder joint on the circuit board.. soldered it back up and works like a charm...

Also good to see the people whom I didn't know, who drove in off the highway to see Jayman's truck. WTF? never seen 33s before?.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Let's see - nothing as major as some of the stuff posted:
- de-dirted and painted tire carrier;
- de-dirted and painted leafs;
- replaced washer fluid pumps with new ones that actually work;
- refilled washer fluid;
- taught 90 kids some stuff;
- worked my own kids on homework;
- spent some time with the wife;
- blew up lawn mower (deck collapsed);
- cleaned bar-b-que.
EDIT: I also re-adjusted camber and did a poor man's alignment. I'm getting good at that!
Drank some beer.
And noticed Montreal is up 3-zip at the end of the second. Cool. GO HABS!!!
Not bad for a day of work and an evening.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Well, likely a 4-door Rubicon. There are a couple of different ones I've had my eyes on. Best out-of-the-box off-roader with room for 3 kids and all of the necessary 'stuff' to go along with us - and tow a little camping trailer.
I'm sad to see the LR go, but it served us well. Just getting to the point where it was going to need some money spent on it to keep it in tip-top shape. (as everyone here knows as their vehicle ages - older Pathy owners, I feel your pain!)
