For the record here Mike, I would much rather see you KEEP your truck, but if you are going to go down this road, there is no point in giving all your stuff away.

I think that's what everyone is saying here, we all know that we can't get the $$ that we have invested in mods BACK, but I think in this case, you have the opportunity to actually get some of the investment back.

You'd likely get the same price for the truck stock, or with mods, so although it would be a major pain in the butt to do, you do have a group of enthusiasts here who are more then willing to purchase your mods from you, so that you can make some $$$ back, and still get the same for the truck if you trade it in.

You can have my rear bumper, free of charge!

No, thats not what I was saying at all, give me your bumper. Good summarizing Jay. Mikey could have my rear bumper too, but I think Bender has it, something about being forgetful after hangin' out in his garage with Scotto. Whatever the case Bro, I hope your smiling when it's all said and done.

The truck will be sold as one piece. I'm putting this on the back burner for a little though. :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Don't do it!!!! Keep the truck and buy one of these:

Wagon

or

Sedan
http://www.autotrader.ca/used_cars_Car_ ... tario&r=40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Either have enough go pedal without killing the bank. They also have good aftermarket support!! Do it now. :|

Lol, Steel! I have looked at both of those already. They're too high in km for me.

That's a beautiful car man. Obviously there is a huge difference between one worth 12k and another worth 22k but i'm guessing that's what separates keeping your truck or not. I agree, the other two are high km's but one will def pop up in that price range that has better mileage. I've never weighed out cost differences between the wrx and the sti. What's the insurance like? I know neither vehicle has good fuel mileage not that it matters with a car like that because there's no way someone could take it easy on it. The deadly thing about that sti you posted is the add where it says "VERY practical car". Yeah, that huge wing, gold wheels and 300hp make it just like a Caravan ;) You may have problems taking possession of the car because it appears no one else gets to drive it but him!!!

Don't get me wrong. If you want one of these bad boys go nuts, they are awesome and i'm happy for you. The absolute only issue is that if you sell your rig then you will break the hearts of many in this club and you Sir, will be solely responsible for that. Look, these guys are scrambling for parts of your truck because in actuality they represent parts of you man. They want to remember.

:) the STI is likely just a dream, its going to take a hellova lot of $$ to maintain the car. A WRX with 80 ish on it would be ideal for me. Oh, and I might have some goodies already lined up for one. I will sell the truck, but it won't be gone ;) so, no worries there.

Front burner!

So, if all goes well, in the next week this truck will be mine. Mike and I have worked out a deal, and he's found a car, so just a matter of crossing the T's and dotting the lower cased J's.

BTW, Dave...

I was already in negotiations with Mike for this rig when you kept pushing him to keep it. I could have killed you!

Honestly, there's isn't much modding to do. It's already pretty well modified the same as my truck. Just need to swap over a few things from Atari.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!! My apologies man, I had no idea. Congrats on the purchase and I'm sure you'll have a blast with it. I still think Mike should keep it though.

So Atari is going away? Oh man, that makes me feel kind of said  But then I guess Atari probably needs a little help (how's her manifold?) Poor old girl. It's like you went out and got a puppy while the old dog still lies there, happily, by the fire waiting for you to come home, but then she sees the new dog and begins realizing what's going on and wondering when you'll take her out behind the barn... Poor Atari.

At least you know that Mike took good care of his truck. So: Congrats on the new adopted child.

Nice analogy Scott. You're going to make Pezzy cry.

The manifolds, actually are fine, because I installed headers on it last fall.
