Supersized!!!..all in my console!!!
OMG...does any one have any ideas on how to clean out a supersized flippin rootbeer from my console.. I'm sticking in park and don't know how much more beating the poor shifter can take!!! I transported drunk people and one did a balancing act while trying to text....I really don't know how I didn't lose it!!
I mean......really!

Sounds like you will have to remove the center console and clean the mess up. easy solution for now would be spray WD-40 around moving parts on the shifter until it moves freely.
Sorry to hear this happened. I would say the drunken idiot owes you an interior cleaning somewhere.

That sucks, damn drunks. I managed to spill liquid plaster of paris on my dash and down the defrost vents(don't ask, stupid human trick #1). I am still blowing white stuff all over the place. arrrrgh. Try explaining that fine white power on the dash at a ride program.
Try spaying a natural lemon based cleaner (some green product) around the stick et al, it should cut through the stickyness without leaving an oily residue, atleast until you can gut it and detail.
good luck with that.
