I wish we had something like this...
Some of you may already know of its existence but I came across this site and wished we had a comparable one up here or at least one with the same selection. Then again maybe it is a good thing cause I think I spent enough in my mind to buy a whole new truck

Re: I wish we had something like this...
What extras did you have to pay for to get the stuff over the border or do they have a Canadian store we can shop at?
The on-line shopping options up here is pretty pathetic. I almost wished I were American Anyone want to start up an on-line business up here?

Re: I wish we had something like this...
When I bought my lift from AC (4x4parts.com), I paid about $250 for shipping and brokerage on the whole thing.
The lift kist was $1049, and my total came to just short of $1300 at my door once I had paid for the brokerage and duty etc etc.
If you want to save yourself some money, find a place that accepts parcels that is close to the border, and then drive down and pick it up yourself. You save yourself the brokerage fees, and with AC, I'm pretty sure that they ship anywhere in the US for free. You save the shipping, and the brokerage fees.
You'll still have to pay for gas to go to the US, and the duty on the way back, but you'll save yourself a bundle over-all.

Re: I wish we had something like this...
Thanks. Aint it a bit steep to get stuff across the border but I won't get started. I just wished we had similar access (availability, access and cost) to stuff like our southern friends.
I love their site to see available products for Nissans.

Rush, give it some time, but I would have a look at your struts as mine were about to rip apart . The weld were starting to fail on my ranchos with those AC springs. They are probley part of a new ford focus now, as I pitched them into the scrap metal bin at my shop and went with some prg's. Just a heads up. I've seen similar damage from those springs.

Re: I wish we had something like this...
I guess I was lucky, I didn't have to pay any fees or duties . I found it on Kijiji so I just had to go to Kitchener to pick it up, besides I paid couple hundred bucks less (and I met Skinny Pedal and his friend - thanks guys!).
Kit includes: upper control arms, Idler arm brace, Rancho RS5000 Front Shocks, Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shocks, torsion bars and add-a-leaf.
Ron, I think I talked to you about it at coffee meet.
Oh, I also found Shrockworks sliders checking Kijiji site for almost half price

Re: I wish we had something like this...
I saw both the lift and the sliders on kijiji as well. I was thinking of posting the link to the lift on here, but I didn't know the seller and didn't want to seem like I vouch for them...
Glad to see someone on here get that lift...was a good deal. Sliders weren't that bad of a deal either...

It turned out that both of them were members of the SOXC and NTC, but they are not members anymore, I just don't remember board namessandor wrote: I didn't know the seller and didn't want to seem like I vouch for them......
Sliders guy lives in Brampton and has lifted silver Xterra with SOXC sticker at the rear window. Small world...
