Cleaned the pathy for the first time since spring sets in and found a bunch of rust spots on her

Re: 3.5 vs 3.3 engine oil drain plug position
Steve, mine's 3.3 and its on the right side (passenger side). The plug is at 45 degree angle from the ground and pointing towards the right side. I don't have pics. though, I'll let someone reconfirm.

Re: Engine Oil
I've 265,000 km and am running synthetic. To be honest, I can't feel the difference. But maybe that's me and the engine is 3.3L, no supercharge. Sometime I got lazy and change it after 8000 km. There's no leak when I did the change and the oil stays same level on the dipstick.

Re: Toyo or Michelin?
I've had Michelin in the past. Bought the truck used at 150,000 km with used Michelin tires, and put another 50,000 km. I like them in both wet and dry pavement, and even in the winters. And I'm pretty sure its the Michelin LTX. And currently, I'm using Michelin winters and I like them a lot too! Re...

Re: Brakes
I'm really hoping that all I need is readjust the rear brake shoes and service both sliders. Its been half a year and I think its about time. I don't wanna replace parts that still have some amount of life left to it. I'm going to a local garage this time and see what they've to say. Thanks for the ...

Re: Brakes
When I serviced my vehicle at Midas back in September, they told me the discs were going and if its not replaced, it'd damage the pads. There's no pulsation on the brake pedal at all and at the time, the steering slightly vibrated and pulled to the left as I came to a halt. I should have probably ta...

Brakes
I need to replace the front brake discs and pads for the pathy. Does anyone have recommendation as to which brand I should go for? Should I stick with the OEM one? I'm concerned about its performance in a stop-and-go traffic on a hot summer day and while wheeling in the mud and rock. Currently, I'm ...
