Re: XTerra Question
No, the door, ignition and lift gate came as the same key on all Nissan's. The lock moves two ways. 1. Tumblers up and down 2. Cylinder turns. The cylinder may be seized due to lack of use. Most common issue. Or, a replacement cylinder would come with a separate set of keys. If you take the inside f...

If you've got it torn down to the spindle, it's very little extra work from there.
Down side is they would have to be ordered.

Re: Torsion bar question
These are the parts that I urge people not to skimp on. If they are 10 years old, they've been supporting the complete weight of your truck over every pot hole. SAW bars are even tighter, putting more strain on old parts. Don't skip the highlighted stuff! http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt209/joh...

Re: Torsion bar question
You're truck is 12 years old, make sure you do your self a favour and put new anchors and adjusters in at the same time. If you haven't already, you should do a PML with rear shackles at the same time. This will allow you to take advantage of the SAW bars. Make sure whomever installs them knows that...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Nice Morph! How did that little blaster work out? Worked great for what I was doing. I was using fine sand, there are coarser mediums that could be used too. The top of the bumper pad had too much detail to it for me to sand it by hand, so I turned the pressure down to about 50psi and went at the p...

Tackled the rear bumper today. Typical 1/1.5 gen xterra rusty rear bumper. Mine wasn't that bad, I've seen worse. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt209/john_arbor/Truck%20mods/ea0fa90f-0090-4410-8985-29fb12a8b298.jpg Started by pulling off the plastics. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt209/jo...

Re: Rear Differential Breather
The older hardbody pickups used the breather with the barb connected to a hose. At some point Nissan changed to a wobble breather like on a pressure cooker. They don't do anything to keep the water out. We keep them in stock. They are both identical thread. It's a pipe thread, so if your local deale...
