Interesting. I wouldn't think the mesh would do much....but I guess it would at least stop the chunks of crap getting in there. The mud, however....I'm sure still gets packed in. it gets all the bigger stuff plus it slows down the mud from flowing right on the rad never had a problem with overheati...
