Re: New here from markham with a pathfinder

We do coffee meets I know they do a few near the airport. The guys here in the east end (including me) have had one meet so far. Hope another one sometime. Not sure if you guys and girls do any meets but if you do I'd be interested in coming out. Meeting everyone and taking a look at your rigs :)

You can also add Black Lake Bypass to your list as that was the second part of AW's Sunday run ;)
Sweet thanks! Didn't even have a clue. :P

First of all welcome from Markham! :D

Jim
I believe that was Shoe Lake.

And the trail damage from this year was a new tire because I destroyed one at Camp NL... finding a D Load rating Mickey MTZ is proving harder than I though!

Re: Hello from Toronto!! (Canada's most disliked city, I kno

I have a 2010 Xterra Offroad model. It depends what you are doing with your Xterra but if you plan to wheel it I definitly recommend getting the Offroad/Pro-4X model with the skid plates and rear locker. Other than that, I love my X I don't regret anything other than I have pretty bad fuel economy w...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

Flexed the X out yesterday and ran into some issues that I need to solve. Other than that I need to find a bigger object to flex out the X on! http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/ii539/Xterratrax/DC5E421A-ACE2-4A2B-B88A-A90C13B19EEF-2304-000003409A9FAF17.jpg http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/ii539...

Thanks for the suggestion but it's too far. Maybe if I go up there sometime to do other stuff I will try some roads out.

Washboard Roads near Markham Area?

You could just come up to Elora and drive back and forth from Fergus. Our roads suck. There's also a good selection of dirt roads that, like the main roads, are never maintained, and even include a few river crossings, due to bridges being removed. Really. No sh!t. I can do river crossings to get t...

Washboard Roads near Markham Area?

I know of logging roads in Algonquin Park that almost always have washboard sections. Green Lane, north of Newmarket, used to have a section, but it has been fixed. You might have to blindly go north and east and drive a whole grid of concession roads hoping to find something appropriate. Xterra197...

Yea I have tried that but I need more room for more speed. Every parking lot around here with enough speed bumps are too small.

Spring Over Axle?

I did a SOA on my 2nd gen X. The main downfall that might happen is axle wrap. I haven't experienced this yet and I hope I don't have to. Also you will get a lot of lift and it requires some custom fab. Here is the link to my suspension build page:

Washboard Roads near Markham Area?

I am lookin for some rough roads to test out my new suspension on somewhere I can go a decent speed so not a trail. I live in Markham so somewhere not too far north or maybe something east near Oshawa or further east. Hopefully you guys have some leads.

$10 Creeper at CT!

I was picking some stuff up at CT to get ready for Trailfest and I came across foldable creepers for $10! I picked up two and they work pretty well for someone under 6ft tall.
