Re: Canada roof top tents! check it out!
Romey, you're nuts!!! Sleep in the back of your truck like a real man!
(I'm Just jealous, I'm making my trailer this winter and would love to add a tent to it) Any chance we could get together and I could take some measurements?

The one I have is Donaldson. You wanna make sure it has the proper CFM rating. Otherwise you'll starve the engine of air.

Re: Front axle
Just do the SAS Ron!
autopartsway.ca has cheap CV shafts(100 bux). I used to buy 6 packs of them. I also have an Xterra one here you can try out. I know its the same as the Pathfinder. But the Frontier is a little too luxury for me to have had my hands on ;-)

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Hey dudes! Got some new tires. 36x13.5x15 Interco Iroks. A noticeable difference from the 35's (being that the 35's were worn down to 34) There are WAY quieter on the road. No balancing issues, I use Magnum Balancing beads (11 OZ per tire) and they work AMAZINGLY. I'll post pics and video of them be...

Re: F*&% Me - Again, Already Seriously?
You're battery has probably been damaged by the over-charge. Over-charge was prolly caused by a shorting/blown Diode in the rectifier.

Re: Bad Whine After Deep Water Crossing??
The main problem is the rear bearing is a needle roller and the grease is easily washed out and replaced with mud, sand, dead frogs, etc. WD 40 doesn't protect against that. It atually gives dirt and debris something to stick to. You need to get an alternator with sealed bearings front and rear to k...

Re: Bad Whine After Deep Water Crossing??
You can remove your alternator belt and see if that stops some of the noise (as a test, not a fix haha) but chances are you did all your idler pulleys, and possibly your bearings in the Alty. Just hope its not the AC compressor bearing, its really hard to change ;-)
