Re: Looking for a place to buy Doug Thorley Headers in Guelp
I didn't need CEL eliminators for my DT headers if anyone does not want to use the eliminators. I have magnaflow heavy duty cats (heavy duty apparently is like a stock cat v.s a highflow) And I have Honda accord cats I believe because it has a mid bed 02 rather then putting the secondary 02's past t...

Re: VG33ER
Front diff isn't that hard to do. Its nice to have two people removing and installing it because it is a little heavy for one person but it can be done with one person just need to use a jack to help you. 1. Pop upper BJ off of spindle 2. Unbolt cv shafts from diff (now with it un bolted and ball jo...

Re: VG33ER
Changing the oil is easy, you just need a fluid extractor of some sort with a small piece of fuel line to get in there. I got my oil from ford (motorcraft), the Ford t birds and such use a eaton sc like ours. I did A bit more of a write up somewhere on here lol.

Re: Stock Airbox vs Volant
Michel, the most likely issue with your airbox is due to your body lift. I bent the brackets that hold the airbox in place, and tilted the outlet down slightly toward the motor. That allows me to open and close the box easier as the intake tubing isn't at such an extreme angle. See just do that and...

Re: Stock Airbox vs Volant
LOL... The top of the Volant seals like crap too, I'm going to make a gasket for mine, but it shouldn't be like that regardless.

Re: Stock Airbox vs Volant
I recommend stock Air box over the Volant. With the Volant you need to pull the grill and left head light out to change a God damn light bulb!!! I have one but will be running a amsoil air filter which is a washable paper type filter because K&N or Volant cone style Gauze filters suck. If you oi...

Re: Headers with SC
Thanks for the input guys, I believe Jaymans truck has AC headers and correct me if im wrong but I think they're a shorty header that bolts right to stock cat?? Not sure but if that is the case maybe his wouldn't be as bad as mine being long tube header. I understand the theory about the bigger exha...

Re: Headers with SC
The pipe size is bigger than stock but its been that size for years since Drew did the exhaust. All I got done to fit headers was basically take out stock cats and move them down a bit because the headers are long tube. Note as well Darcvaders truck (Morbs Old truck) is the same exhaust size as mine...

Headers with SC
Just wondering if anyone has DG headers on a supercharged xterra or fronty? About a year ago when my head gaskets went I replaced the cracked exhaust manifolds with DG headers. I must say My truck has lost major power I have no bottom end power anymore. My truck would take off from light no problem ...

Re: 2" Body Lift weekend?
Ya we should be able to get it done in one day but we need to start in the morning around 8 or 9ish. Does any of these places have a welder? Like Jay said we should plan on cutting the floor whether we have to or not.

Yes it is, I would say for the little bit of difference between N/A And SC Id choose N/A ( regular fuel)Miner wrote:I think Lucas said the NA motor is more responsive, more immediate, at low speed.
