Re: Question - load sensing valve bypass ?
Thanks for your reply, appreciate it! I don't tow anything, never have heavy load in back cargo area, or rear passengers. So without the load sensing valve, and no weight on the back end, I've heard that the rear brakes will start to lock up... If this does in fact happen, it could potentially be a...

Re: Question - load sensing valve bypass ?
Yes, people did it all the time. The only thing the valve does is increase/decrease the pressure to the rear brakes depending on how much squat the rear of the truck had (how much load in it)

Re: Did something fall off my X?
You can buy a whole spring pack and install yourself, but you could also just go to a local spring shop and have them replace the broken leaf.
You should also check the shocks. The reason the leaf springs sometimes break is that the shocks are blown and cause the springs to over-work themselves.

Unfortunately the rotted radiator support is a common issue on the 1st gen's, but it's a fairly easy repair if you have the right equipment.

Re: Vibrating qx4
When I had my R50 I found that there was quite a bit of vibration from the front. One thing that really helped for me was switching to manual Warn hubs to release the front drivetrain when 4x4 is not in use. You can test this before spending the money on the manual hubs by just removing the drive fl...

Sorry for the delay Craisy Daisy, you should be all set now. The code for OF4wd is in the email that you received from us near the bottom. We haven't got all the manuals loaded yet, it's a work in progress. If there's something you're looking for that's not there, just message me and I can get it fo...

Re: Spare tire mounting question and help.
The chain and crank are all 1 unit, but you're probably best to try a pick and pull yourself wrecking yard, or just throw It on the roof rack and tying it down.
New they're $240+tax.

Nothing in the Canadian market for this recall at this time, but that doesn't mean there might be one still coming.

Re: low rpm on startup
Thanks Morpheus. The idle is fine all the time, with the exception of that first 2 seconds after the first start of the day. The base idle can still be a source, as everything is based off that initial setting. Cleaning the MAF, and the throttle body is a good start, then setting the base idle and ...

Re: low rpm on startup
Probably needs the base idle adjusted, which iirc on an 06 needs to be done with a diagnostic tool.
