That rule only applies to sheet metal, and if there's any jagged edges it could be failed on that alone.lowridah313 wrote:As long as exhaust gases can not enter the vehicle, it should pass.

That's possible. Could also just be the type of pads that are on there. Some are noisier than others. Also, if they've gotten really warm, they could have a glaze on them. I'm sure they would have deglazed them when they serviced the brakes. I've seen rotors make noise, even when they look fine. (o...

Word of advice... be careful. With a 350 swap the vehicle is "technically" supposed to be e-tested as a "modified" vehicle. the vehicle would be tested using the specs on the engine. ie: 1969 block would have to pass '69 standards, not 89. downside, there is no 20 year limit, it ...
