Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Simple trick to see if your shock is bottoming out is to put a small zip tie around the shock shaft and run the truck for awhile over terrain that you think would articulate the truck the most. When done take a look at where the zip tie is, it will slide up the shaft only as far as it's being pushed...

Re: Labrador trip

Re: Labrador trip
Tires are just 265/75/16 territories, worked good up in minden for the rookie run. Want to upgrade to 285s soon but the wife drives the truck about 125km a day for work and have heard that the 285s will kill my gas mileage.

Re: Rear trunk box
Only downfall i have heard of with putting your recovery gear in a drawer is that if your stuck and the rear of your vehicle is against a tree, rock, etc. you can't open the hatch and pull the drawer open to get to the recovery gear. As previously mentioned by Rev here is a link to a great thread on...

warranty with modifications
How far do you think you can push the envelope with mods to your truck before getting denied warranty. My 2006 Xterra has a simple spacer and shackle lift and a arb bumper and don't want to get denied warranty after i send it in to get diagnosed for a brake problem i'm having. Truck has never seen a...

My brakes suck
My brake pedal in my 2006 Xterra is low and after sitting at a stop for 10 seconds or so it will slowly drop to the floor. I've check the condition of my brakes and everything is good, i bled the brakes and confirmed that the fluid was clean and full. I'm thinking that the master cylinder is bypassi...

Re: Truck won't warm up
I have had the truck for a year and have never done a flush on it, we just finished the airlock procedure and it seems to be working now. A heater core flush might be a good idea anyways.

One heater core line gets hot and one stays cold, do I have an airlock in the heater core?
