Re: New member- Just say'n Hi!
Hi Romey, I just wanted to pass along my condolences to you and John's family. John was such a great guy. I noticed in some of his FB pics that were posted remembering him, he was wearing his CNTC tee-shirt... Made me a little proud. He gave me his headlamp one year, because every year I tried to w...

Will also get more info on the Xterra (needs minor stuff) but it's all there running and working. It's been highway driven mostly and not really wheeled. lot's of good memories wit...

I'm also trying to help the family sell his Xterra. the family could definitely use the funds now. 2 kids. i don't have posting privileges ...

Re: what's the centre hole bore on these nissan rims?
The Lego's are 15x7, it's the steel wheels that are 15x6. I have an extra set of legos I could measure the bore to verify for you if you like? Chevy rims will need the bores made bigger. But funny enough, the pathy rims fit on a chevy just fine lol. thought it was the other way around and that chev...

Re: what's the centre hole bore on these nissan rims?
good clarifications. thanks fellas. i read somewhere centre bore is 100 on these and maybe 106 on the yotas which makes sense. mitsubishis need 108. adamzan, if it's not out of the way, just for kicks, sure thing on measuring the legos. preciate it! what do you think of that rim/winter tire combo? t...

Re: Roof top tent
yep, that casualty bag with all the zippers so you can treat the soldier through it. maybe I saw that thread here. cheapest I ever saw one was for 300 bucks used! I guess so long as the ceramic pot thing works, anyone should be able to wait for the warmth. mind you, it's a small area in those RTT's ...

Re: Roof top tent
I'd love to have one of those military issue heavy duty medic sleep bags! guess the best thing would be a small efficient propane heater thats external to the tent. or i wonder if a small hanging metal box with a couple candles inside would radiate adequate heat. it would have to be safe first off c...

Re: Roof top tent
yeah, those webastos are nice. some of the guys I know with diesel trucks use them. how nice would it be to pipe that hot air form the truck up and into the tent! but yeah, I'm not sweating, survived 15 below with my son with just our bags so at the end of the day it's just the added comfort. I coul...

Re: Roof top tent
nice. i'm gonna guess that's titan's knock off from arb which knocked off gordigears, lol. if i remember correctly, arb got word that their factory was also making titans tents so they moved to another manufacturer. anyway, looks a lot like the pilbara and the ayer. nice to see it's still holding up...

Re: Roof top tent
sounds good. funny, in that youtube vid the guy says that the telescopic ladders aren't good. interesting. well, it is an ad for gordigear though. (haven't had any issues with sand getting on my ladders, so far so good). those two tents are pretty much identical. not sure what you mean about set up ...

Re: NEW TIRE: BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A® KO2
been running these tires for a while now (33x10.5R15). the best there is out there imho. you'll never need two sets of tires with these on. they keep up fine with the built rigs on MTs on the average run. great in the snow too (helps that my rig is AWD). i'd grab these again when my current ones wea...
