Re: LP10000 Superwinch Problem
Ok I tried to bypass the solenoid and I believe I did it correctly, but not really sure. I used jumper cables and attached the ground wire (black) to the negative on the battery and touched the power (red) on "D" and then "F" ..... but when I did nothing happened, nothing turned....

Re: LP10000 Superwinch Problem
Thanks for the ideas, I'll try out bypassing the solenoid. I like lookzcustoms idea but with a RG item from PA they scribe "RG" everywhere. Its scribed in 6 to 8 places on all different areas ..... but I do remember not seeing it on the actual solenoid itself  . Could pick up anot...

LP10000 Superwinch Problem
I was able to pick this up in the bargain bin at PA last week for $150 bucks, it was a RG (returned good) item they said. I was told it was tested and worked, it also came with a 30 day warranty ... so I said why not. Anyways long story short .... it doesn't work, I hooked it up to the truck and I g...

Centerlink Question
Hi, just wanted to know if the centerlink pivots/rocks on the idler arm bolt or should it be a solid point that only rotates on the axis of the bolt. Same question goes for the pitman arm attachment. The idler arm assembly will be replaced shortly but just not sure if the centerlink needs replacing ...

Re: Anyone have an engine?
Check this out. Hopefully the link works. Its a 2001 being parted out, looks to have front end damage but the engine might be still good.

Re: Truck won't warm up
Mine had the same thing a year ago or so. Even when I was at a stop light the heat would slowly turn to cold air, once I started moving it would blow hot air no problem. Haven't had that problem yet this year, I guess if you leave it long enough like me it fixes itself. Lol.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Well, what I did to my rig was done over the last month or so. Along with some help from good friends. Installed 3" SL from AC with Bilstein shocks, rear stainless brake line (fronts are not in yet), heavy duty tie rod adjusters, put on some 285/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZ's, and a set of Hella 5...

Re: R51 Fan Clutch Shot?
Is this the same fan that could cause a rough idle? Basically, if im sitting still with the brake on (like in the never ending TIm's line-up) it goes off and on every 20 seconds or so.....when its on the rpm go down to 700 or so, causing the truck to have a rough idle.

Well I guess I was wrong about replacing anything .....both arms are now inside the crossmember though.......I will keep an eye on it until it is replaced.Simon wrote:That adjuster should now be replaced, as it will never be as strong as original if bent back into shape.

Re: Torsion Bar
Who fixed the truck after the driver side collapsed and what caused the driver side to drop? Well the truck was still under warranty at the time of the collapse so Nissan towed it to the nearest dealership, it went to Kingston to get fixed. And as for the reason.....I have no idea, I was driving do...

Torsion Bar
I was going to crank up the bars to lift the font end and encountered this: http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo124/simps19/IMG00249.jpg Its kind of hard to see but the adjustment nut that the torsion bar finger rest on has turned. The one half on the finger is bent which allows the nut to fall thr...

I'm running 265/70/16 BF Goodrich A/T's on my X right now, they don't rub when I lock the steering hard. They do rub if I pull into a driveway a little to fast though.

I did have both back wheels off the ground before though. At the same time, on purpose? Welcome! Ya at the same time. I think it was the 3rd time I was out, a friend and I hit a gravel pit just outside of town. He had a Jeep with a 4" lift and he went over the edge just fine. I follo...
