Re: Privacy

If it's an Android you can go into the app settings and disable whichever permissions you want, but if you disable photos you won't be able to post or save pics from the app.

Re: Attention!

I ask as my BIL scraps vehicles from time to time to make side money. Sometimes he comes by a decent 4x4 vehicle that was on the road but takes too much to keep on the road (Blazer, QX4 come to mind from the past year or two). I imagine he'd consider selling one for what he'd get in scrap to save t...

Re: Attention!

Pick up yes but they can't till at least May, small budget (not much more than the price to scrap it from what I gather however it is negotiable). Only real requirement is the vehicle must come with the ownership.

Attention!

If you are ever planning to send your X (or frontier, or Jimmy, or anything 4x4 really) for scrap I would appreciate it if you could let me know! I know some one who's looking for a bush basher (or multiple donor vehicles) for use on private property. Body damage, rust, broken frames don't matter. E...

Re: "The South"

So wait. Why can't you just renew the sticker where you live now, no emissions test. Or do you actually have to get it tested when you move even though the sticker is already valid? At least that would give you some time to get it fixed on your own schedule. Got the 2 year this year, so gtg for a b...

Why do you people in the South have to make things do difficult? It's almost worth having to pay $1.20/L for regular gas year round! Almost...

Re: "The South"

The thing that gets me is that the Drive Clean website says the visual is checking for missing parts, not original parts, so in theory so long as there are cats, and O2 sensors and the like it should all be good. Does that seem like a correct assessment?

Re: "The South"

Yeah, I'm a live in the middle of no where kinda guy. How middle of no where depends on swinging the veto vote... On that note I am in fact bringing the whole kit and caboodle along. Luckily the start times in my line of work ARE obscene, so commuting is less of an issue. Sent from my SM-G935W8 usin...

By original emissions equipment do you mean front and rear cats? Cause that could be an issue

Also: not ready for the people. Mostly because I generally despise people, especially in groups. Takes a special sort to make it into my spend time with list [emoji14]

Re: "The South"

I DO have the X, and yes that's the one that needs to pass... Codes are ok, but I can't believe they would pass a vehicle that barely has exhaust behind the rear cats, and no muffler at all... On that note: headers with full aftermarket stainless exhaust a pass? I have the headers, just need the res...

"The South"

Well folks, the time has come for me to come in out of the cold. I have accepted a position in Toronto, and I start training March 19th. Welcome! I also would recommend speaking with Mike at Milton Nissan. They work on nodded trucks. What's this "nodding" you speak of? You folks in the South starting a new trend without me?!? Also: Welcome! See what you've gotten yourself into? Don't let it trouble you. We're mostly harmle...

Re: Time for a timing belt?

Paraffin Wax rubbed on fabric, then melted into it with a heat gun or hair dryer works pretty good too

Re: Time for a timing belt?

MEK is used in small amounts as a solvent in waterproofing stuff, straight MEK would eat most any synthetic materials.
