Re: What's your first vehicle?
First vehicle I bought as my own vehicle was a 1984 Toyota Corolla SR5 2 door. Rear wheel drive 2 door go-Kart :D. Paid $450 for it, was littered with rust and needed a few things to get past the safety, but I managed. Had it on the road for about 18 months, then decided to slide sideways into a gua...

Is the, or a, dark theme still available?
I know I was in the minority, but I hated that theme. It looked cool for the first 3 seconds or so, but I couldn't read it for longer then that without my eyes going all wonky on me.

They can be a b1tch to remove, that's for sure. I have a puller if you end up needing one.Adam wrote:Finally have some spare time tonight, so I will tear into it and find out. I hope it's not elongated, I couldn't get the pitman arm off in the first place to drill it!

has anyone done this mod? I'm looking for any tips or advice to help prevent 7 extra holes in my fender. Apparently I need to update my "Owner's Rig" page... http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e358/Jayman_777/Xterra%20stuff/IMG_2066.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e358/Jayman_777/336...

Re: VDC how nice it was to have you
Agreed. It is sad that a large number of drivers have no clue what it was like to drive without these features or what to do when they fail. I never rely on them and was surprised when it kicked in (and glad that it did after my dumb move). The Cherokee is the first vehicle that I have owned that h...

I've been buying my gas at Shell for years, but not because of the Ethanol issue...
Still, good to know that the premium gas they sell doesn't have any ethanol in it.

Re: Cat system on exhaust - 1st Gen to 1.5 Gen
Believe it or not, I still have my stock secondaries sitting in my garage if you want them... I have the stock primaries as well, but they were so plugged up from running rich for a long time that they are next to useless. I've been hanging on to them because at one point I had planned to take them ...

Re: Cat system on exhaust - 1st Gen to 1.5 Gen
When we did the headers on my truck, we removed both sets of stock cats, and then had a shop install Magnaflow cats in pretty much the same locations as where the secondary stock ones were originally located. So instead of 4 cats, I'm currently running only 2, and they are lower down the exhaust lin...

2000-2003 PATHFINDER PROBLEMS
That is crap news indeed. The protection given to CT from US chains only give CT the monopoly on crappy service/products. CT should go back to its basics and focus on the core business rather than trying to dilute its inventory with fluff. Next up milk in aisle 3 :o You can already get basic grocer...

Re: 2000-2003 PATHFINDER PROBLEMS
4+ years. Should still have some warranty on it. You'll have to pay some pro-ration, but will be cheaper than paying for new. Yeah, you don't get that much back in return on them. Mine appears to be dead as well Scott. Charged it a couple of weeks ago, and within a day it didn't have enough left in...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Hooked up the charger this morning, as the battery is dead. Hasn't moved in a few weeks, so the flashing security light apparently drained the battery. I have the same problem'. I did pull the fuse for the radio and clock, can I just disconnect the anti-theft thing??? My old '98 Pathfinder I think ...
