Re: New from Kitchener
Yup. Had one. Towing capacity did me in on it. Loved the little truck. Will do hydro line but you'll hit a lot of places underneath. Invest in skid plates if you plan to and some lift. The Aussie's have a significant club with lots of great info.

Piano string twang

Took it in to the dealer today and there is a bulletin from Nissan on replacing the radiator fan clutch assembly and serpentine belt tensioner. $500....

Re: Kind of a cool story...
Last fall I hit black ice on the 400, did a 180, and went backwards into the grass median at about 80kph. There was a grouping of evergreen bushes that slowed me down. Aside from a bent rim nothing else was wrong with it.

Re: Frame Rot Prevention
Actually old school land rover guys use Waxoyl which can be tough to get here. I did that to Breta years ago and it seems to be holding up. And old landy's are notorious for frame rot. Step one was to scrape and clean the frame. Just like painting, the more time spent on this the better. It was dirt...

Re: Wanted
Wow, resurrecting from the past. Just actually paying attention to this post now and while I don't have any electronics, I have some words of advice. I deal with Simms who are the largest electronic recyclers in the area. Your son should be wearing proper dust mask when doing this, especially if he ...

I have a LARGE Pelican case (3'x4'x2'). But the Xtrail has a removal tray which I may look at bolting a metal drawer to it.

Xterra and Pathfinder sun roof width
I am looking at the Weathertech wind deflector for the xtrail but they don't offer one since it was such a low volume vehicle in North America. Can I get a couple of examples of your sunroof width (drive to passenger side) to see if I can find an Titan/Pathy/Quest model that will work. The Xtrail ha...
